There is so much going on in Cobb County to appeal to everyone. That’s why it is a great place to live and visit.

There is world-class dining. The Food Network has become a regular guest in Cobb County. There are award winning and nationally recognized restaurants like Henry’s Louisiana Grill and Marietta Diner. There are fun things to do like take a haunted pub crawl through the Marietta Square and enjoy a sampling of ghost stories as you tour three of the haunted bars on the Square. Tour through the historic Marietta and experience the rich heritage, past grand Antebellum homes and the vibrant downtown area.


For adrenaline junkies, Cobb has a lot of mind-blowing adventures for all ages. An easy start is Six Flags Over Georgia with roller coasters and water rides to thrill anyone looking to live on the edge. For those who like to in-line skate, bike or run, the 60-mile Silver Comet Trail is a great stretch to test your endurance, but you don’t have to do it all at once. Cobb’s Lake Acworth is home to the first stop on the pro wake board tour. There are great lakes to provide opportunities for water sports.


There are many family-friendly locations to enjoy. Dave and Busters or US Play are favorites, or try out the Mountasia Family Fun Center for some cooler action. Everyone loves to visit Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to learn about the area’s history and significant battle that took place there.
