Super Ideas for Super Bowl Snacks

Even if you aren’t a huge football fan, you can’t help but feel proud of our Atlanta Falcons for making it to this year’s Super Bowl. The Falcons have had a strong team this year and their fans are truly energized. Although we diehard fans have been supportive all along, we won’t hold it against you if you’re a new fan. The more, the merrier!

Are you hosting or attending a Super Bowl party this year? Game Day parties are always fun, and even more so when it’s your favorite team that is playing. And of course, a Super Bowl party calls for super snacks.

We have gathered some recipes for tasty and fun Super Bowl snacks that are especially for Falcons fans. However, we’re sure these ideas will satisfy a crowd regardless which side they’re cheering for. Also, no matter how many people you’re hosting, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Here are some super ideas for Super Bowl snacks (especially for Falcons fans!)

1. Grilled Peach & Chipotle Salsa

Since Georgia is the Peach State, a recipe with peaches is definitely a necessity. This recipe includes grilled peaches, which are already a pretty amazing treat. But the combination of smokiness with a little spice gives you the perfect taste of Atlanta.

2. Baked Brown Sugar Chicken Wings

It’s just not a Game Day party without wings. These have a perfect combination of smoky and sweet with a perfectly crispy skin.

3. Coke Float Push-Up Pops

Atlanta is home to the Coca-Cola Company, so it’s only fitting to include a recipe which uses the fantastic beverage as an ingredient. It’s also a drink you’ll probably want to serve on its own. Kids of all ages will enjoy these fun and delectable push-up pops!

4. Shrimp & Grits

We love our grits here in the south, but did you know grits are considered the official prepared dish of Georgia? Combine grits with shrimp and you’ll have a dish that makes your mouth water.

5. Copycat Chick-Fil-A Nuggets

Does anyone else find themselves craving Chick-Fil-A (which is originally from Georgia) on Sundays – the one day they’re closed? This Super Bowl Sunday though, you can enjoy a close resemblance of Chick-Fil-A while you’re cheering on the Falcons.
