Now we’re ready to share some outdoor fall decorating ideas. Perhaps you’re interested in adding curb appeal to a house you’re ready to rent or put on the market. Or maybe you simply want to have fun by making your home look seasonal. Either way, these inexpensive and easy tips will help make your porch and yard look splendid and attractive for the fall.
Here are a few things to consider for outstanding outdoor fall decorating:
1) Use seasonal colors
The colors of fall are uniquely beautiful. Seasonal colors such as radiant reds, vibrant yellows, dark oranges, deep greens, and bold browns can be mixed and matched in many ways to decorate your home’s exterior and yard. Do you use an outdoor patio for entertaining? If so, you can easily decorate the outdoor space with potted plants, fall flowers in vases, outdoor rugs, table cloths, and other accessories to display all the gorgeous colors of the season.

2) Include natural elements
It’s easy and inexpensive to add natural decorations into your outdoor fall decorating plans. For example, you can dress up your front door with a handmade autumn wreath made with Chrysanthemums, leaves that have changed color, corn husks, and dried berries. Don’t forget to place pumpkins and gourds of all sizes along your porch and front walkway as well to make your home exterior appear even more inviting.

3) Add texture
Be creative with your outdoor fall decorating by texture to your displays. Filling empty space with baskets of autumnal flowers (real or artificial) adds depth, along with pumpkins and gourds. If you have a porch swing or other furniture outside, drape comfortable throws and place cozy pillows with seasonal colors on them so you can enjoy being outside on cool, crisp nights.
