The look of natural wood has become quite the popular accessory, whether it be furniture pieces or wall decor. The use of natural wood creates a rugged yet chic accent in your baby’s room, giving it a more calming atmosphere. Go as far as a wood accent wall completely or as little as a wooden crib or rocking chair.

According to lullabypaints.com, “this trend in the nursery is sudden...it’s been kind of shocking to see how many reflect this ‘cleaner’ nursery style”.

Celestial objects -- the sun, the moon, and stars -- are popular accents to use in your baby’s room. These convey a calming environment by way of shapes babies are drawn to visually. After all, it is a nursery; there has to be some kind of “awwww” factor!
